Local artists sell their work at this market. You can find wood carvings, baskets, and traditional art. You buy directly from the people who made these things. This shop is not on the main street but you should find it. They sell jewelry, spices, crafts, and even frozen game meat. Two Beards Coffee has a small stand in the outdoor area. You can drink coffee while you decide what to buy.

You will find this shop on Tobias Hainyeko Street. They focus on jewelry made from semi-precious stones. The shop also has t-shirts, bags, scarves, and handmade crafts. The staff knows a lot about their products. The courtyard makes it easy to walk around and browse.
Die Muschel Book & Art Shop
This shop sells books in three languages. They also have Namibian artwork and gifts. Come here if you want something cultural or a book about the region. The shop is in the center of town so it’s easy to visit.
African Kirikara
This shop is at Woermann Tower. They sell traditional African crafts made by local people. When you buy here your money goes to Namibian artists.
Good Souvenirs to Buy
Karakul wool items are popular in Namibia. You can buy wood carvings but some are cheap airport souvenirs and others are real art. You can see the difference when you hold them. Woven baskets are useful and well made. Leather goods made from ostrich, buffalo, and kudu are high quality here.
Herero dolls wear traditional colorful dresses. You see them in every shop. Jewelry made with local quartz and agate looks nice and costs less than it would back home.

You can bargain at markets but not in regular shops. When you buy from artists at markets your money helps their families directly. Most shops will ship things internationally if you buy something too big to carry on a plane.
