Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek
Upon arrival in Namibia, your guide and a representative from our company will welcome you to the “Land of the Brave.” You will be transferred to your first accommodation, Vondelhof Guesthouse. After freshening up, your guide will meet you for a short city tour of Windhoek, visiting important historical landmarks.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at Joe’s Beer House, one of the most popular restaurants in Windhoek, where your guide will brief you about your safari in detail.
Day 2: Windhoek to Kalahari Desert
After breakfast at Vondelhof Guesthouse, your guide will meet you at 10:00 a.m. for your journey to the southeast, heading towards the Kalahari Desert. You will arrive at Kalahari Anib Lodge in time for lunch.
In the late afternoon, take a nature drive in an open game-viewing vehicle to explore the red dunes and enjoy a beautiful sundowner. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Kalahari Desert to Namib Naukluft Park
After breakfast, you will travel to one of Namibia’s top highlights, the Namib-Naukluft National Park. Lunch will be served en route. Arrive at Namib Desert Lodge in the mid-afternoon for a two-night stay.
If time allows, your guide may take you for a short geological visit or a nature drive. Later, visit Sesriem Canyon for a great view down into the gorge. Return to the lodge for dinner and a briefing about the next day’s activities.
Day 4: Namib Naukluft Park (Sossusvlei)
After an early wake-up call, have coffee or tea before setting off for the Sossusvlei excursion. Arriving early gives you the best light for photos as the morning shadows highlight the shapes of the dunes.
Climb the famous Big Daddy Dune, explore Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and the dune fields, then enjoy a picnic brunch under a camelthorn tree. Return to the lodge in the early afternoon for a late lunch. Spend the rest of the day at leisure before dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Namib Naukluft Park to Swakopmund
Today’s scenic drive takes you northwest through the changing landscapes of Namib-Naukluft National Park, passing the Ghaub and Kuiseb Canyons via Kuiseb Pass. You will reach the coast at Walvis Bay, then continue to Swakopmund, a charming seaside town.
Enjoy a relaxed afternoon exploring the town along the waterfront before dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay.
Day 6: Swakopmund – Walvis Bay – Swakopmund
This morning, you will drive to Walvis Bay for a half-day Sandwich Harbour Tour. Check in at 8:00 a.m. and begin the tour at 8:30 a.m. with your local guide. After the adventure, return to Swakopmund for lunch and a free afternoon.
You can explore more of the town on foot before dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Swakopmund to Damaraland
After breakfast, continue north into the rugged region of Damaraland, known for its scenic beauty. Lunch will be served en route. You will pass Brandberg Mountain, Namibia’s highest peak at 2,573 meters, and enjoy the views and wildlife along the way.
Arrive at your lodge built among granite boulders. If time allows, visit nearby attractions such as the Twyfelfontein Rock Engravings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 8: Damaraland to Kamanjab (Himba Village)
After breakfast, drive to Oppi-Koppi Rest Camp in Kamanjab. On the way, visit the Petrified Forest, located about 42 km from Khorixas.
After arrival and settling in, join your guide for a visit to a Himba village to learn about their traditional way of life. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Kamanjab to Etosha National Park
After breakfast, depart for Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s top wildlife reserves. Arrive early in the afternoon and have lunch before your first game drive in a private safari vehicle.
Visit popular waterholes where you may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, and various antelope species. Return to your lodge before sunset for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Etosha National Park
Enjoy a full day of game viewing in Etosha National Park. After an early breakfast, set off for a morning game drive. Early hours offer the best chance to see predators hunting.
Lunch will be taken en route, and you will continue exploring the park before returning to Okaukuejo Resort by sunset. Spend the evening watching wildlife at the floodlit Okaukuejo Waterhole before dinner and rest.
Day 11: Etosha National Park to Windhoek
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Windhoek. On the way, you may stop at Okahandja Wood Craft Market for souvenirs. Lunch is served en route.
Arrive in Windhoek in the late afternoon and check into your accommodation. If you missed your city tour on the first day, it can be done today. Enjoy dinner at one of the city’s well-known restaurants and rest for the night.
Day 12: Departure
After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the airport for your flight home. Say your final goodbyes, marking the end of your Namibia Guided Safari.
