Welcome to Namibia! Upon your arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, a representative will meet you in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name. After loading your luggage, you will be transferred to your guesthouse in Windhoek. Settle in and relax before your safari begins tomorrow morning.
If you wish to explore Windhoek before dinner, you can book a short city tour in advance at an extra cost.
Day 2: Windhoek to Etosha National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a short city tour with your guide before heading north toward Etosha National Park. The journey takes about 4 to 5 hours and gives you a good introduction to Namibia’s vast landscapes. You will pass through Okahandja, Okonjima Nature Reserve, and Waterberg Plateau National Park, then continue through Otjiwarongo, one of Namibia’s fastest-growing towns.
Lunch will be served en route. You will reach your lodge near Etosha in the afternoon. If time allows, enjoy a short game drive inside the park before dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Etosha National Park
Spend a full day exploring Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife reserves. You will drive through the park, stopping at popular waterholes to view animals. Enjoy lunch at Halali Camp in the heart of the park.
Etosha is a paradise for photographers, with beautiful contrasts of light, color, and texture. Sunrises and sunsets are particularly striking, so keep your camera ready. After a full day of game viewing, you will return to your camp for dinner and rest.
If you stay inside the park, you can enjoy watching animals at a floodlit waterhole near your camp.
Day 4: Etosha National Park
After breakfast, go for another morning game drive to explore the southwestern side of the park. You will return to your lodge for lunch and some rest during the hot midday hours.
In the dry season, animals gather at the park’s many waterholes, providing excellent chances to see elephants, zebras, giraffes, and predators. Later, enjoy your afternoon drive before returning for dinner.
Before you sleep, take a moment to look up at the clear African sky filled with stars.
Day 5: Etosha National Park to Damaraland via Himba Village
After breakfast, you will travel to Damaraland, stopping at a Himba village along the way to learn about the tribe’s unique traditions and way of life.
This mountainous region is home to desert-adapted wildlife such as elephants, black rhinos, and lions that survive in this dry environment. After a picnic lunch en route, visit the ancient Petrified Forest, believed to be over 200 million years old, and see the long-living Welwitschia plant.
Before checking into your lodge, visit the famous Organ Pipes rock formation and the Burnt Mountain. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 6: Damaraland to Swakopmund
After breakfast, travel through Uis and across the desolate gravel plains of the Namib Desert to the Skeleton Coast. Stop for lunch along the way before visiting Cape Cross, home to thousands of Cape Fur Seals.
After exploring the seal colony, continue south to Swakopmund, Namibia’s main coastal city. Check into your hotel, then spend the evening walking along the beach or the town’s charming streets before dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Swakopmund and Walvis Bay
After an early breakfast, drive to Walvis Bay for a half-day Sandwich Harbour Tour. Arrive at the waterfront by 7:30 a.m. to meet your local guide. Enjoy a scenic 4×4 drive along the Walvis Bay Lagoon and the salt mines while exploring the unique dunes of Sandwich Harbour in Namib-Naukluft Park.

Day 8: Swakopmund to Sossusvlei
After breakfast, begin your journey inland to Sossusvlei, crossing the Namib-Naukluft Park. This park is part of the Namib Sand Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the only coastal desert in the world with fog-influenced dunes.
Along the way, stop at the small town of Solitaire to try its famous “Apple Pie,” a Namibian travel tradition. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon as the setting sun paints the dunes in shades of red and gold.
Enjoy dinner and rest early for the next morning’s adventure.
Day 9: Sossusvlei
Wake up before sunrise to visit the world’s tallest dunes at Sossusvlei. As the sun rises, the soft light creates beautiful photographic opportunities. Drive along the Tsauchab River bed and stop at several dunes, including Deadvlei, one of Namibia’s most iconic sites.
Enjoy a picnic near the vlei and later visit Sesriem Canyon, a one-kilometer-long gorge carved millions of years ago by the Tsauchab River.
After exploring the area, return to your lodge for your final dinner together after a wonderful Namibian adventure.
Day 10: Departure
